Welcome to Fictilations Pottery!   

I began my business in Myrtle Beach, SC in 1990 and it has developed into a popular studio featuring functional, Christian-themed/church supplies, and Celtic-themed pottery.  Depending on what you are looking for, visit those pages.  I also carry specialty mugs;  you can have your name or that of an organization placed on a high-quality, wheel thrown stoneware mug. 

My studio name, Fictilations Pottery, is based on the root word "fictile," meaning "of or related to pottery."  My initials also show this creativity.  They are RMN and are found on the side or bottom of the pottery pieces: 

I incorporate my initials in my logo (top of page on left).  My initials are on the pitcher, and the mug is made up of my initials.

Since 1990 I have participated in almost 100 festivals in Indiana, Kentucky, Virginia, and North and South Carolina.  I have sold pottery to over 100 stores from Michigan to New York to North Carolina to Louisiana.  I have also sold pottery to over 30 seminary bookstores, including Princeton Theological Seminary and Vanderbilt Divinity School.  I also participate in Scottish Highland Games, which is reflected in my line of Celtic Pottery.  I am also a member of the American Ceramic Society.
